At times believers state, “The devil is a liar!” which essentially means that something is not going to happen in the way the devil wants or that the truth is not being told because the devil is the father of lies. In thinking about what truth is, Christians must be careful of their own perceptions or interpretations. So, as a true believer one must always examine the word, pray and commune often with our Heavenly Father regarding everything.
It never ceases to amaze me how helpful folk want to be and yet, information that is shared can still be untrue. So, again I say seek the truth in the word as well as through the Holy Spirit. Jesus gave the following advice that we as believers should hold onto:
31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

At times, there are those of us believers (myself included) who do not live like we are free as Jesus has promised. We allow the secular world to dominate our minds, bodies and souls with all kinds of lies that we well know originate from Satan himself. Our thoughts drift farther and farther away from the truth and what is right when we do not keep our hearts, minds and spirit on the Lord. In order to combat evil and any feeling that is against what God has placed in us as well as God Himself, reflect on the verse below:
Scripture: Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
