Saved Without Regrets

In the times that we are living, those of us who are believers should understand that life is a precious gift from the Lord. We should try to do as many things that are pleasing to the Almighty as possible. I am excited to share that my pastor met with the congregation a few months ago and made a request. The request was to plan and implement an outdoor activity for and with the assistance of the youth of our church. A committee of volunteers as well as many contributions, donations, and help enabled our pastor’s vision come to fruition.

Throughout the preparation for this successful, glorious event we were reminded that it would be a day of celebration with the Lord. Everything that we did was with that thought in mind. Update after update regarding the event was positive and we knew that this day was going to be wonderful. It truly was! Satan tried to put a damper on the day with two separate incidents of participants succumbing to the heat; God is in charge. The individuals were treated and were fine. Yesterday, during church service, one even shared her testimony as well as thanks for receiving support while going through the ordeal. Glory be to God! He reigns!

In reflecting upon the day and particularly the outcome and what I have learned about people coming together who love the Lord, I leave you with this scripture:
